My approach to newborn photography blends the artistry of traditional studio portraiture with the natural expressions and fleeting details that make your baby unique.
With dedicated newborn safety training and extensive experience, I use gentle, baby-led positioning that prioritizes your baby's comfort while creating beautifully composed, professionally styled portraits. I never force a baby into a pose for the sake of a photograph. Instead, I work with your baby's individual needs to create a gallery filled with variety, artistry, and personality.

I believe your first days as a family should be enjoyed, not rushed.
Unlike photographers who require sessions within the first few days after birth, I welcome newborns beginning at 7 days old, with most of my Minnesota newborn sessions taking place between two and three weeks of age, and occasionally up to eight weeks of age depending on circumstances.
You have time to recover, settle into feeding routines, and enjoy those first precious days together without the pressure of an immediate photography appointment. Your baby will still have those beautiful newborn features, and we'll create portraits that celebrate this fleeting stage.
